NCCR and CIUD from Nepal organised a Zoom webinar with representatives from the health sector, private social enterprise, security in-charge at Sisdol landfill site, and the local government representatives of Kakani Rural Municipality and Dhunibesi Municipality that surrounds Sisdol landfill site.

Since the pandemic, private households increased the usage of disposable products related to food, mainly packaging, but also disposable dishes such as plates and cutlery.

A webinar with the Local Government representatives stakeholders in solid waste management in Nepal was held to discuss the their role in the management of wastes during the COVID-19 crisis.
